Upcoming Events

So summer is here and if you're like me you are not just satisfied with just going to the pool and the beach (which are not that clean here). You need excitement in various other forms, and I'm here to provide you opportunities to seek this said excitement.
Upcoming events include:

MP3 Experiment Eight by Improv Everywhere
On: Saturday July 16, 2011
Where? The location will be disclosed on their website improveverywhere.com Friday, July 15
Info: A podcast will be posted, you and various (by this I mean hundreds) of other New Yorkers will download and arrive at the disclosed location at a disclosed time. At a given time, everyone will press play on their iPod, mp3, or whatever you use. The podcast will play giving various instructions that you will follow. (It is much more fun than it sounds. Videos of last year’s MP3 Experiment is posted at the end of this post)

Free Outdoor Movies as part of the EPIX OUTDOOR MOVIE SERIES
*Note: Guys and Gals this is perfect for a cheap date night, just sayin*

Another event which is not so free is the:
Jones Beach Concert Series
Price: Can range from $35 to $550 for tickets. They have plenty of tickets at prices ranging from $35-$50 which are really good deals; it's a a helleva lot cheaper than Madison Square Garden because its not nearly as touristy.
Location: Nikon at Jones Beach Theater  Wantagh, NY  (this is near Long Beach- at the beginning of Long Island)
Concerts Include: iCarly- July 21, blink182- August 6, My Chemical Romance - August 7, Kings of Leon- August 10, Maroon 5- August 12, Kesha- August 20, and various others.
